EAGAN, Minn.The Vikings are partnering with the Minnesota Star Tribune to host a high school girls flag football state championship.
Thirteen qualifying schools will meet at TCO Stadium on Monday, June 8, for the second annual state championship tournament.
Tickets are free and can be claimed throughVikings.com. All tournament games will be livestreamed atStribVarsity, and the official tournament bracket can be foundhere. Gates open at 11 a.m. (CT), and games will begin at noon. The championship game is slated to kick off at 6 p.m.

La Crescent-Hokah
Minneapolis Washburn
Minnetonka
Park Cottage Grove
Rogers
Rosemount
St. Louis Park
St. Cloud Tech
Waterville-Elysian-Morristown
White Bear Lake
Following a 2024 pilot program that included just four teams in 2024, the Vikings in 2025 launched the inaugural girls flag football season that included 51 teams and culminated with the Mahtomedi Zephyrs earning the first state title at TCO Stadium last summer. The leaguemore than doubled from 51 to 104 schools in 2026with 100 percent of the schools who participated in 2025 returning for a second year.
