JACKSONVILLE - The Jaguars have added experience on defense.
The Jaguars on Sunday signed 11th-year veteran cornerback Tramaine Brock, fifth-year veteran defensive tackle Carl Davis and fifth-year defensive lineman Caraun Reid. They also waived rookie cornerback Kobe Williams and placed defensive tackles Brian Price (knee) and Dontavius Russell (hip) on injured reserve.
The moves leave the roster at 80 players entering the week.
A look at the three signings:
*Brock (6-feet-0, 188 pounds) has appeared in 117 career games (56 starts) in stints with San Francisco (2010-16), Minnesota (2017), Denver (2018), Arizona (2019) and Tennessee (2019). He has totaled 241 tackles, 55 passes defensed and 11 interceptions. He played in 14 regular season games (11 starts) in 2019, seeing action in 10 games with Arizona and four games with Tennessee - and totaled 50 tackles and five passes defensed. He started all three postseason games with the Titans last season and posted 11 tackles and three passes defensed.
*Davis (6-5, 320) has appeared in 36 games with 12 starts in a five-year NFL career. He signed with the Jaguars following Week 12 of the 2019 season and saw action in two games, making one tackle. He also has spent time with Baltimore (2015-17) and Cleveland (2018) with 32 career tackles, three passes defensed and two tackles for loss.
*Reid (6-2, 292), originally a fifth-round selection by Detroit in the 2014 NFL Draft, played for the Lions from 2014-15 and played with the Chargers in 2016. He did not appear in a game in 2017 and played with the Cowboys in 2018 and Cardinals in 2019. Reid has 50 career tackles, 3.5 sacks and two fumble recoveries (both for touchdowns) - including a career-high 29 tackles and 2.0 sacks in 2015.
