EAGAN, Minn. - The Vikings added depth to their wide receivers group Wednesday when they announced they have agreed to terms with Tajae Sharpe.

The 25-year-old, who is listed at 6-foot-2 and 194 pounds, was a fifth-round pick by Tennessee in the 2016 NFL Draft.

He made his NFL debut against the Vikings back in Week 1 of the 2016 season when he caught seven passes for 76 yards in a 25-16 Minnesota win. Sharpe's seven catches matches his current career best, and his 76 yards are his second-most in a single game.

Sharpe has 92 career catches for 1,167 yards with eight touchdowns in three seasons. He missed the 2017 season with a foot injury.

The wide receiver hauled in a career-best four touchdowns in 2019 when he had 25 catches for 329 yards in 15 regular-season games with the Titans.

Sharpe has big-play potential, as three of his career scores have come at least 30 yards from the end zone.

A native of New Jersey, Sharpe starred at the University of Massachusetts. He played in 47 games (with 43 starts) for the Minutemen, and holds school records with 277 receptions and 3,486 receiving yards.

He also recorded 16 career touchdown catches and was a two-time First-Team All-Mid-American Conference selection. Sharpe earned All-American honors in his senior season with a national-leading 111 receptions for 1,319 yards and five touchdowns.
